Silk scarves for wigs and alopecia
Why silk?

Silk is a lightweight natural fabric which is hypoallergenic and gentle on skin. Silk is particularly good for sensitive skin, due to it's ability to retain moisture, repel dust mites and bacteria. Worn on a wig, silk reduces breakage, frizz and tangles due to it's smooth surface which minimises friction as well as holding your wig in place when its tied. Silk is also a breathable fabric and temperature regulating, so it's good for any hot flushes.

Our scarves are 100% pure silk created by disabled female designer Samantha Baines and printed ethically, in London UK in multiple colourways. Our scarves are printed with certified non-toxic ink on pure satin silk so you can be sure the ink won't irritate your skin either.

Why real flower designs?

Scientists have proven that just looking at real flowers can reduce stress and anxiety. Our founder realised how important nature was for her mental health when she was in hospital for three months with her daughter. There are some spaces, like intensive care where real flowers aren't allowed but are so needed. Baines London uses images of real flowers in all of our designs so you can bring nature with you wherever you go.
Our standard scarves are 75cm square (as pictured). If you'd like more material for a double head wrap larger sizes can be ordered.

75cm square - £115
90cm square - £155 (email to order info@baineslondon.com)
